In a silly simple way, the creative process feels like using a pogo stick.

To really “do it” - you have to do it.

Both require you to find balance through discomfort and choose to bounce back from challenges repetitively.

Building patience, rhythm, momentum, & flow as you go, freely exploring & embracing what you’re doing at that moment.

Plus + pogo sticks aren’t meant for travel they are meant for fun. You don’t usually hop on it to get you somewhere, you hop on to enjoy the experience.

I view creating similarly & POGO as just a fun name to note this parallel that fuels my creative perspective.

Sometimes it is about simply showing up and enjoying creating something without trying to go from point A to point Z.

Creating doesn’t have to be a goal to check off a list, an idea to manifest, or a feeling to find, sometimes it’s just a thing that is meant to be experienced & hopefully enjoyed.
